Reproduction camelback sofa reupholstered in a large pattern damask. Project included repairing the frame, plumping the cushions with batting, double piping edges, recovering the feather box cushion, and 20 yards of pattern matching. Completed in one week.

Two four-seated round poufs, rotating, draped and upholstered on a complex curve with diamond tufting. Upholstered to reinforced chip board, with over 300 buttons. Frame constructed by David Schneider. Completed in about two weeks.

Re-purposed a vintage Hudson Bay blanket to cover a daybed, accenting the patch and striped details from the blanket while avoiding stains and holes in the aged fabric. Completed in one day.

Ten scalloped-back armchairs in red, orange, and yellow velvets that were hand basted, then machine sewn; foam was custom cut and shaped; rear chair backs were hand sewn on. Pattern draped by Eileen Garcia, stitching support from Kaitlyn Horpedahl and Andrea Spraycar, done over a three week period.

Six rows of seating, including a curved back seat, consisting of sewn-in diamond-tufted backs and channeled seats, upholstered in red naugahyde. Upholstered over two weeks with help from Roo Huigen and Anna Warren.

Interior walls covered in padded velvet with gold trim and diamond tufted door panels. Two seats with diamond tufted backs, tufted box cushions, and a box-pleated skirt. Ceiling covered in a ruched moiré with a cast center medallion. Six working Austrian drapes cover the windows and are trimmed in weighted fringe. Completed over a two week period.

Striped ikat patterned canvas used to refinish the cushions in a T@DA camper; three wood-backed cushions and six zippered cushions attached to the camper with Velcro strips. All cushion patterns matched to line up when installed. Nine cushions completed over three days.

Six IKEA office chairs were recovered and altered with foam to recreate a specific 1970s office chair. Completed with the help of the Santa Fe Opera crafts shop in five days.

Tufting pattern on this settee back merged five pieces of fabric without any sewing. Rest of settee upholstered by Elise Christiansen. Back tufting completed in one day.

To soften the metal staircase for a falling actor, the stairs were covered in a thin dense foam which was then covered by a carpet runner. To accommodate for the spiral and the narrowing of the staircase as it ascends, each tread and rise is covered in three pieces of carpet — two edge pieces, and a center. The carpet is taped together and T-nailed to the metal frame. Carpeting completed in six hours with the help of Grant Larouere.

Two counter-raked armchairs upholstered in burnt velvet, with hand-tacked tassel fringe and pattern matched seams. Frames constructed by JJ Hu. Upholstered over a one week period.

10-foot long chaise covered in heavily sculpted upholstery foam and bead foam for support and shape, then upholstered in a thick, printed canvas. Finished with floral appliques. Project completed in four days with assistance from the SFO props craft shop.

Two leather chairs were patched and partially recovered with leather and a cotton houndstooth. Both were repaired structurally, one needing its entire seat rebuilt, including tying the springs. A third chair was simply recovered in a yellow corduroy. Completed in 1.5 weeks.
